In late 2023, two of our community fundraisers walked into a board meeting with a sealed Scarlet & Violet booster, a stack of receipts, and a question: what if we sold packs at fair retail and put 100% of profit into hot meals? The board approved a six-month pilot. The pilot did not stay a pilot.
Every pack we sell is sourced through licensed distributors never grey-market at distributor pricing. We ship at fair retail. The margin between distributor cost and retail price (less only payment processing and shipping at cost) goes 100% to our Hot Meals program. Not 80%. Not "after costs". One hundred percent of margin. Per pack. Per drop. Tracked, line by line.
Every pack ships with a card showing the exact dollar amount that gift contributed to meals calculated from the unit margin, not estimated. Scan the QR on the back and you'll see the specific kitchen, on the specific date, that received your contribution.

Every drop ships out of our fulfilment partner in Texas. Packs leave their factory case for the first time in your hands. We do not handle, sort or single out packs at any stage.
We sell at the same retail price as a brick-and-mortar shop. We do not charge a "charity premium". The margin to program comes from our being a non-profit, not from inflating the sticker.
Every pack ships with a unique ledger ID. Scan the QR code on the receipt card and you'll see the kitchen, the date, and the meal count your specific pack funded.
The drop's running margin is wired weekly from our merchandise account into the Hot Meals program account. The reconciliation is part of the daily treasury sign-off.
The model: every pack traceable to a specific kitchen, no overhead taken from the margin, fair-retail pricing. Pack volumes and meals funded will be published on a per-drop ledger entry as soon as the first drop ships.
