What we ask

What we ask of every volunteer.

We're a child-focused charity, so the bar is set deliberately. None of this should be a barrier most of our volunteers are first-timers but it's all non-negotiable.

  • You're 18+, or 16+ with a guardian co-signed waiver.
  • You complete our 90-minute safeguarding onboarding before your first shift.
  • You hold a current Working with Children Check (or equivalent in your country) for any role with direct child contact. We'll guide you through it; the application fee is on us.
  • You commit to the shifts you book, or cancel with 24 hours notice so we can fill the slot.
  • You read and sign our Code of Conduct, and agree to confidential reporting if you witness anything that concerns you.
